The Moon Peeks Through the Clouds Above The Mountain

Hand sculpted in porcelain, this little Mountain Deity has a beautiful calming presence. Inviting the night and a feeling that all is at peace. It has been minimally decorated with underglazes and oxides to create the feel of a printed textile hem. A tiny bit of glaze and gold lustre were applied to the moon and it was fired at 1235°.
